Small, smart, agile – EXCOR Active receives CE marking. The only pediatric and biventricular ventricular assist device gets a new driving unit. We are proud that, together with our partner Zollner Elektronik AG, we were able to develop such a complex medical device and declare CE-conformity. Thanks to an innovative control software, EXCOR Active is able to support patients from newborns to adults.

EXCOR Active gives hospitalized children waiting on a heart transplant the possibility to play, move, learn… simply being a child while being supported by a ventricular assist device. We look forward to bringing this new driving unit into clinical practice, so that the small patients will be able to move around on the hospital grounds more freely.
