The recently published German Heart Report contains interesting statistics on heart medicine and developments in this field in Germany.

We are particularly pleased about the increase in heart transplants to a total of 318 in 2018, possibly due to successful organ donation campaigns.

Overall, the report confirms the excellent standard of heart surgery care in Germany:
