Excellent long-term results of Berlin Heart EXCOR^® Pediatric in Japan! At the ISHLT in Nice, France, Prof. Ono presented the results of six Japanese hospitals with a total number of 29 patients. The outstanding results are: Sixteen patients successfully underwent heart transplantation, 3 could be weaned from the device due to functional recovery and 10 in ongoing support. We congratulate all clinics in Japan for their superb survival rate of 100 %!
